muShroom, leek and chestnut stuffed seitan roast
This stuffed seitan roast is a new favourite- I started practising this recipe for the winter crochet retreats as a way of having a vegan centrepiece for winter dinners. It takes a little time, but as with all those things- the added effort is worth it. The fennel seeds fill entire houses with a wonderful festive smell and once you get the timings down, the rest of your roast can fit in around this as it bakes away in the oven. A total festive delight!
Please note: The roast is the only recipe in the collection to be printed on two pages as I didn't want to cut any of the process out, so is sold for £3 instead of £2.
Limited edition recipe card for Guac and Roll's Mushroom, Leek, Chestnut Stuffed Seitan Roast - parts I and II are included in this bumper pack- (so two cards for £3.00) due to the fact that the recipe is too long to fit on one card.
A total centre-piece, attention-demanding, microphone hogger of a seitan roast. Perfect for Christmas, holidays or hungover Sundays. The recipe uses seitan from scratch, so you'll learn how to prepare it, as well as making the filling to stuff it with.
