Okay, so I've got plenty to say about Barcelona (i.e. M A O Z) and if you're looking for a fresh Guac recipe you can pick up my #TacoTuesday duo for The Debrief earlier this week. But BEFORE we get to that, I have a huge favour to ask.
The Observer Food Monthly Awards have swung around once again (thank you Jemma for pointing this out in the first place!), and it would be amazing if Guac & Roll could get in with a fighting chance for Best Food Blog (UK based). Winners are chosen from a shortlist compiled by reader votes- so if you've enjoyed reading Guac over the years and picked up a thing or two along the way, or just have a fondness for winning avocado puns then it would be amazing if you could vote for me.
As a total self-deprecating Brit, asking a favour like this does feel strange, but don't worry- I won't make a habit of it. OFM is one of my faves so this one just means a lot.
How to vote:
Cool, so enough of the waffling, how do we do this? There're two ways- either visit the OFM Awards voting page here and vote in each category you'd like. You can fill in as many as you like and it takes literally seconds. To vote for Guac, the blog name is Guac and Roll and the address is http://shakeguacandroll.com/.
Or, if you'd rather stake allegiance via Instagram and Twitter, you can take a photo of an empty plate, and use the hashtags #OFMAwardsBestFoodBlog #guacandroll #London.
Thank you very much and let me know via Instagram or Twitter who else you voted for- I'm always on the look-out for great new companies/ recipe books/ bloggers. Now on with this Barcelona breakdown...
