What are these delightful bowls full of the good stuff I hear you ask? Well, it’s a recipe I put together for the Vevolution blog, ahead of the first Vevolution Topics day on 7th February.
Damien got in touch a few weeks back to ask if I’d like to feature a recipe or two on the Vevolution site as they gear up to chat about Vegan Food Innovation for the very first session next week at The Trampery. I’ll be heading down to hear from Ian Theasby and Henry David Firth, founders of the very addictive vegan video food channel BOSH!, that you’ve probably also come across on Facebook and not been able to stop watching for two hours. They’ll be joined on the panel by Sarah Bentley, founder of plant-based community kitchen Made In Hackney, and Jonathan Petrides, founder of plant-based home delivery vegan meals allplants. And the panel is chaired by none other than my lovely boss and long time pal, Meriel Armitage, founder of Club Mexicana.
To top it all off there’ll be incredible food from Pomodoro E Basilico, ProofsPlace, Vida Bakery and Kind State Of Mind. I can’t wait! You can pick up tickets here.
And, of course, find the recipe for the Bhel Puri Bowl here. They're cheap, cheerful, full of colour, and the perfect antidote to anyone that still thinks vegan food is based on stodgy lentil curry. Tah dah!
